In his foreword to an album of paintings by Nissky, Alexander Deineka wrote, "His works are not views of specific places that exist on our planet, but a kind of paradigm of forests, fields, and villages. This is why a wide general meaning always lies at the basis of Nissky’s work. They resound epically".
