The IOC "Russian Museum: virtual branch" of the V. E. Tatlin Art School No. 1 opens a new academic season.

The opening of the new season was held at the information and educational center "Russian Museum: virtual branch". Younger schoolchildren were pleased to get acquainted with the work of the famous landscape artist Alexey Kondratyevich Savrasov.

Alexey Savrasov, a lover of lyrical landscapes, taught young artists to feel nature. The painter used restrained colors and painted ordinary landscapes for the central part of Russia, but his special techniques made the canvases airy and poetic. In 1871, he created a landscape that became a cult and textbook - "Rooks have arrived". Rooks are a symbol of the renewal of nature, the return of spring after the cold weather. Savrasov's attention to detail and his ability to feel nature are manifested in the finest drawing of the melted snow: somewhere it is darkened, somewhere it is lilac, pale purple, blue and even pink.
