80 years since the beginning of the Battle of Stalingrad (July 17, 1942)

Senior schoolchildren of V. E. Tatlin Children's Art School No. 1 in Penza and their parents got acquainted with a virtual exhibition dedicated to the day of the beginning of the Battle of Stalingrad (July 17, 1942) - 80 years in 2022. The virtual exhibition, which brought together works from the collection of the Russian Museum and 48 art museums of Russia, included more than 1,000 works of painting, easel and printed graphics, sculpture and decorative and applied art.  
The unique virtual exhibition brought together works created by artists of the Russian Federation for a long time, starting from 1941 until the beginning of the 2000s. It introduces the viewer to the wonderful exhibits belonging to a number of Russian art museums and art galleries, and this is the unique feature of this exhibition, thanks to which residents of large centers and remote corners of the country have a rare opportunity to see the paintings, graphic and sculptural works of many of our masters of fine art, including direct witnesses and participants the events of those heroic years.
