The State Russian Museum and the Russian House in Brussels have been continuing a series of online tours of the largest museum of Russian fine art. The meeting on 17 Octobre was dedicated to the great Russian painter Ilya Repin and timed to coincide with the 180th anniversary of his birth. The work of Ilya Repin has been presented on the basis of the exhibition that was held in the Russian Museum in 2019-2020 with the participation of Russian and Finnish museums and private collections. Valentina Gorlova, the Head of the Excursion and Lecture Department of the Russian Museum, will conduct the tour. The live broadcast of the online tour has been carried out from the Multimedia Center of the Russian Museum in St. Petersburg. The online excursion has been organized as the part of the project “Conversations about art to the Russian Museum”, which is run by the Russian Museum in cooperation with the Russian House in Brussels and is dedicated to introducing foreign audiences to the history of Russian fine art. The online excursion has been held in Russian with simultaneous translation into French.
