Painter, graphic artist, book illustrator, theatrical designer, monumentalist. Studied at the College of Art and Industry in Omsk (1920–1925), VKhUTEIN and the Institute of Proletarian Fine Art in Leningrad (1925–1930). Contri buted to exhibitions (from 1920). Member of the Union of Artists (from 1932).
