The art collection of the State Russian museum contains over 400 000 exhibits covering all major periods and trends in the history of Russian art, all main types and genres, trends and schools of Russian art over more than a thousand years: from the X to the XXI century.

Kazimir Malevich was the founder of the artistic and philosophical school of Suprematism. His outstanding ideas about forms and meanings in art would eventually constitute the theoretical underpinnings of non-objective, or abstract, art. Malevich worked in a variety of styles, but his most important and famous works concentrated on the exploration of pure geometric forms (squares, triangles, and circles). His philosophical theory of the new type of artist was ruined by soviet reality.

In March 1998 the centenary of the State Russian Museum – the first state museum of Russia containing the national art collection – was celebrated. This program represents the outstanding works of national painting, graphics and sculpture, it the history of the museum and its collections and shows the palaces belonging to the united museum complex.

In interactive game kids are offered traditional for quest games tasks and original mini-games, that were developed on the base of masterpieces of Russian artists of 18-20th centuries. In the program there are 30 paintings published (L. Laravak, V. Borovikovskiy, F. Rokotov, K. Savitskiy, K. Petrov-Vodkin etc.), on which the coevals of the players are depicted.
Tasks requesting guessing the parts of a parting, music assistance and acquaintance with games of the past are also composed with consideration of players' age. All the paintings are provided with description. The program is perfected with original music.
