La Filial virtual del Museo Ruso en Cuba (La Habana, Museo Nacional de Bellas Artes) actualiza su labor y muestra la exposición multimedia “Páginas de la vanguardia rusa”. Para presentar la colección del Museo Ruso en formato digital, se trasladaron nuevos equipos de informática y proyección al Museo Nacional de Bellas Artes de La Habana, los visitantes del Museo podrán estudiar recursos digitales (películas y catálogos) sobre las bellas artes rusas desde el siglo X hasta principios del siglo XXI, algunos de los cuales han sido al idioma español. La Mediateca Digital del Museo Ruso se complementará con álbumes y catálogos impresos.

The information centre “The Russian Museum: the Virtual Branch” will be open in St. Petersburg in the Academy of Music named after Elena Obraztsova on initiative of the Russian Ballet School of Ilze Liepa on 13th September 2019.

The virtual branch of the Russian Museum will open in Sterlitamak, one of the largest cities of the Republic of Bashkortostan. It will be the second virtual branch of the Russian Museum in the Republic of Bashkortostan. The first one was opened in the capital of the Republic, in the Ufa State Institute named after Zagir Ismailov. The information and educational centre will occupy the Sterlitamaksk Picture Gallery which is the branch of the Bashkir State Art Museum named after Mikhail Nesterov. It has been the centre of cultural life of the city for more than 20 years. The works of Russian painting and graphic art of the second part of the 19th century - early 20th century as well as the works of contemporary Bashkir artists are exhibited here.

The sequence of the new openings of the virtual branches of the Russian Museum launches in Rzhev

The Rzhev Exhibition Centre will become the 210th participant of the project. The Rzhev opening will be followed by the organisation of the centre in the new region for the Russian Museum – in the Arabian peninsula. The Virtual Branch of the Russian Museum will appear in Lebanon in the town of Beqaa. The collaboration of the Russian Museum with the museums of Russia will reflect in the openings of the virtual branches in the different national museums – in the Museum of the World Ocean, Kaliningrad, the Picture Gallery of Sterlitamansk, the National Museum of Abakan (The Republic of Khakassia).
