Born 1924, Nizhnyaya Loshchikha, Smolensk Gubernia
Painter. Studied at the Leningrad School of Art (1939–1940, 1947–1950) and the Ilya Repin Institute of Painting, Sculpture and Architecture (1951–1957). Worked in the studio of Andrei Mylnikov (1963–1964). Fought in WWII (1942). Contributed to exhibitions (from 1957). Member of the Union of Artists (1960). People’s Artist of Russia (2005).
