Peter the Great. His Time and Circle. A lecture

The Lecture was devoted to the exhibition of the same name that is now being held in St. Michael’s Castle (The Russian Museum). The iconography of Peter the Great is unparalleled in the history of the Russian royal house. The portraits of Peter the Great being created according to some definite programme were a kind of government work.
