The value, thematic and factographic centering of art discourse takes place not only at the level of institutions and exhibition programs, but also within educational initiatives. It is known that "art" is a seductive object for "Sunday lectures," conversations and mediations. The question is where the main and normative version of the History of Art, in particular Russian art of the last century, comes from. This is a very large-scale question. One aspect here is the geography of recognized and unrecognized art schools and centers. Like other institutions, during the pandemic, the Russian Museum was busy producing educational content.
