Dolgorukavka Shirt

An ancient type of festive and ceremonial shirt with long sleeves reaching down to the edge of the clothes. Sometimes the sleeves would be three meters long. The sleeves were pulled up in tiny folds to the forearms. Sometimes a slit was made on the sleeve at hand level. Long-sleeved shirts were worn on special festive occasions. A bride would wear this type of shirt on the eve of her wedding and to perform certain wedding rituals.
