This film tells about life and work of one of the most fascinating and richly talented artists of Russia. He was born in poor armenian family in the town of Feodosiya (the Crimea). His talent earned him a great popularity all over the World.
Kazimir Malevich was the founder of the artistic and philosophical school of Suprematism. His outstanding ideas about forms and meanings in art would eventually constitute the theoretical underpinnings of non-objective, or abstract, art. Malevich worked in a variety of styles, but his most important and famous works concentrated on the exploration of pure geometric forms (squares, triangles, and circles). His philosophical theory of the new type of artist was ruined by soviet reality.
