The Fifth St.Petersburg International Cultural Forum. A Round Table and a Business Meeting
The Fifth St. Petersburg International Cultural Forum will take place in St.Petersburg on the 1st-3rd of December 2016. Further information on programme and participants of the forum at the website http://culturalforum.ru/en.
On the 2nd December at 10:30 – 12:30 in the framework of the Forum the department of the project "The Russian Museum: the Virtual Branch" is holding the round table "Strategies of the development of information technologies in museums" (St. Michael's Castle, 2 Sadovaya str.). The goal of the round table is discussing of main directions of information technologies in the museums of different types.
An Annual International Scientific and Practical Seminar “Use of Recourses of the Project “The Russian Museum: the Virtual Branch”
Dear Colleagues,
We invite you to take part in the annual international scientific and practical seminar “Use of resources of the project “The Russian Museum: the Virtual Branch” in educational activities of the virtual branches of the Russian Museum. The seminar is being organised for the heads and the staff of the virtual branches which have recently joined to the project and have never had any training in the Russian Museum.
The seminar will be held in St. Petersburg in the State Russian Museum from the 27th of June up to the 1st of July 2016.
In the framework of the seminar the participants will become familiar with the museum’s complex, permanent and temporary exhibitions, the multimedia programs of the Mediateka of the project and Online resources of the project “The Russian Museum: the Virtual Branch”. The classes will be devoted to the organisation of effective activities of the virtual branch of the Russian Museum, features of using resources of the project in the educational activities of the institutions, partners of the project. The practical classes will be devoted to the work at the new website, teaching to work with the program COMP (Constructor of multimedia presentations) and development of individual projects of the staff of the virtual branches.
The programme of the seminar will be sent to the participants after the 10th of June 2016
Participation in the seminar is free. Travel and accommodation are at the expense of the organisation sending the participants.
